Collections for foodbank at Carrick Tesco

Carrickfergus Trussell Trust Foodbank is urging people to donate during collection sessions at the local branch of Tesco this week.

The charity will be holding the sessions tomorrow (Thursday), Friday and Saturday at the Minorca Place store.

Food items purchased in Tesco can also be donated into the permanent food collection point at the store throughout the year.

Food donations from other supermarkets and shops can be donated directly to the foodbank c/o Jordan Victory Church, 75 Woodburn Road, Carrickfergus.

Carrickfergus Foodbank is currently asking for donations of:

- Tinned meats

- Tinned fruit

- Tinned custard and rice

- Tinned vegetables

- UHT milk
