BBC School Report gives 11-16 year-old students the chance to make their own news reports for a real audience.

Carrickfergus College, which has been involved in the project for the last four years, explained: “It allows the pupils to see what the average day in the life of a journalist might be like and in turn allows them to make educated choices in terms of career paths.

“All of the stories written by the pupils can be accessed via the school website. Well done to all involved.”
