Colourful Pride parade takes to the streets

The Annual Foyle Pride Festival will come to a colourful conclusion at the weekend, with the main Pride Parade taking to the streets of Derry on Saturday (August 27).

The parade will assembly at the Railway Station, Duke Street, departing at 2pm for Guildhall Square.

Following the route of the historic Civil Rights March of October 1968, the parade will make its way over Craigavon Bridge and through the historic Walled City ending up in the beautiful Guildhall Square, where an afternoon of fun and frolics will commence. Wear your brightest colours, bring your drums and whistles, and make yourself heard.

After the parade there will be a barbecue at 3pm and there will be a Family Fun Area at Cafe Soul, Shipquay Place from 3pm until 6pm.

The Rainbow Project and Here NI’s family project bring you a fun filled family area in Cafe Soul for after the Foyle Pride Parade. Come along for bouncy castles, story tellers, clowns, face painters, and guaranteed fun.

Admission to the family fun area is £5.
