Community festival

North Lurgan Young Leaders have said the event will be fun for all the family with bouncy castles, face painting and live music and dance.

The festival has been organised and developed by young people in the area with the help of Cooperation Ireland and Active Communities Network.

This is the latest venture for the project, having recently held a film festival and produced the short film 'Wasted' detailing the life a teenager from north Lurgan.

The North Lurgan Young Leaders programme is a platform for young people to challenge themselves and how they progress in life, to raise aspirations and broaden their horizons both locally and nationally.

This programme is their opportunity to promote the positive role young people can play in Northern Ireland.

The community festival is the next phase of this journey and everyone is warmly welcome to attend.
