Community grants available for local festivals and events

The Community Festival Fund 2014-2015 is also available to support community groups to stage local community festivals and events in the Borough.

Community Development Officer, Karina McCollum is encouraging community and voluntary groups to come forward to benefit from this year’s schemes: “Council has been delighted by the level of commitment and dedication shown by community organisations in previous years,” she said.

There will be one call for applications in this forthcoming financial year. The closing date for the completed applications is 4pm on Thursday 10th April 2014. No late applications will be considered under any circumstances.
