Community Outreach meeting
FOR its first meeting of the New Year, the Community Outreach Group (COG) is pleased to welcome well-known local author and historian, Dr Frank McCorry who will give a presentation on the role of the Brownlow family in the development of the town of Lurgan.
Dr McCorry, whose knowledge of local history is extensive, has proved to be a most popular and informative speaker at our meetings, so do come along and take this opportunity to hear how the Brownlow family reached out to both communities in its efforts to better the lives of the people of Lurgan.
The meeting takes place at 8pm tomorrow (Wednesday) in the Jethro Centre. Admission is free and light refreshments are served. Everyone is welcome to attend.
