Community urged to attend GROW information session at Pavilion

GROW South Antrim will hold the event in Whitehead Pavilion on Wednesday 15 September (6.00 pm - 7.00pm).

The call for applications under the themes of Basic Services for the Economy and Rural Population and Conservation and Upgrading of the Rural Heritage closes at 4pm on Monday 4 October.

Chair of the GROW Local Action Group, Vera McWilliam, said: “GROW is seeking applications from community organisations, not-for-profit groups, councils and private businesses to improve the quality of life in rural areas.

“Examples of eligible projects include creating access to basic services by expanding space in community buildings, research or studies to identify the needs of the area and pilot projects which aim to secure long-term funding from other organisations.”

Under these measures, up to 250,000 is available to not-for-profit organisations at a maximum grant rate of 75%. The maximum grant available for individuals and private businesses under all measures is 50,000 at a 50% grant rate.
