Community worker thanks local MLA
MARAGARET Peacock has sent a special thank you to MLA and Coleraine councillor David McClarty.
Margaret and her team of volunteers put on a Christmas Day dinner every year for senior citizens who would otherwise spend Christmas alone. David and his family paid a special visit to the Lodge Hotel this year, where the dinner was held, to send festive wishes to those in attendance. Margaret said: “I just want to thank David for his continued support. He is the only one who supports me and my volunteers. This was the 23rd year of the dinner and I want to thank Liz Bradley, David Witherow and Debbie Davis for their continued support.”
