Company to appeal solar farm decision
The firm behind a planned solar farm development at Doagh Road, near Mossley, is appealing against the refusal of its planning application.
The council’s Planning Committee turned down the application from ‘Doagh Road PV’ for the erection of ground mounted solar panels and associated equipment on agricultural land close to Mossley Orange Hall.
Doagh Road PV has now referred the issue to the Planning Appeals Commission in a bid to have the refusal decision overturned.
