Computer gamesthief is told tostay out of Tesco

A 39 year old man admitted stealing computer games valued at almost £800 from Tescos in Lurgan when he appeared last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates
Court.

Michael Patrick Thomas Chambers, whose address was given to the court as Aldervale, Craigavon, pleaded guilty to the theft of games worth £58 on September 1, £232 worth of games on August 22, games valued at £258 on August 27 and games worth £247 on
August 29.

He also admitted going equipped for theft with a magnet device.

On viewing the defendant’s previous convictions District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said it had been a little while since Chambers had indulged in this sort of behaviour.

But given the circumstances and the amount involved he decided to adjourn the matter to obtain a pre-sentence report.

He remanded Chambers on his own bail of £250, with the condition that he had to stay out of Tescos in Lurgan, so that a report could be prepared.
