Concern over storm drains
AN investigation into the state of storm drains at Ballymena's Memorial Park has been successfully called for in the chamber of Ballymena Borough Council by Councillor Tommy Nicholl.
At last Monday night’s monthly meeting of the local authority, Mr Nicholl said during a recent visit to the park he had noticed that one grating was full and said he was concerned that flooding could occur during heavy rainfall, if other drains were in a similar way.
