Concern over Tesco off-licence
A Larne councillor has expressed concerns about an off licence being granted to Tesco Store on Larne Main Street.
Larne Borough Council has confirmed that it has no objection to the application.
But Cllr Martin Wilson said he was worried Tesco could have an “unfair advantage”over established off-sales businesses in the area in terms of prices.
He added: “I feel this will have a knock-on effect for the other two businesses at Broadway.”
