Concert in memory of band member

THE members of Markethill Festival Committee wish to let everyone know that the concert held in conjunction with The John Hunter Accordion Band, Mountnorris in memory of Howard Stewart, a life time member of the band, will be held this year on Saturday, September 15 in the Courthouse, Markethill at 8 pm.

Tickets are £5 and all proceeds are for Parkinsons Disease and Cystic Fibrosis - two charities which were chosen by our Chairman, Mr Robin Dalzell, MBE prior to his sudden death and the Committee hope that once again these two worthy causes wil be well-supported.

Tickets are available in Haffeys, Therese’s and McFarland’s Today Extra and we would like to thank the owners of these premises for agreeing to help us once again this year.

If you are unable to be there but would like to give us your support please speak to Betty Stewart or leave your donation in any one of the shops where tickets are available.
