Condolences for Quigley family

Andrew had been missing since January, but never returned home after a night out. His mobile phone and other belongings were later found on the Foyle Bridge.

Mr Ramsey said: “This is absolutely heartbreaking news and my thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Andrew’s mother Colette, and the entire family. I can’t even begin to imagine the great sadness Colette and her family, and Andrew’s friends must be suffering.

“These past few weeks have been harrowing for Colette and the family who have suffered deep despair and heartache.”

Mr Ramsey pledged to work collectively with others to bring forward plans in a bid to reduce self-harm and to prevent further loss of life in the city.
