Conference on health of young women at Jethro

The conference was organised by the Area Youth Work Team, and aimed to address issues affecting both mental and physical health of women.

Cool FM DJ Sonya Mac opened the conference and presented the pressures she faced as a woman in a male dominated industry.

The young women also participated in four different work shops including dance, relationships mediation and alcohol.

Various organisations were also represented on the day with stalls providing information and support.
