Confidence boosted as Carrick pupils move up a tier
Year 8 pupils at Carrickfergus Grammar were introduced to their new surroundings as they took part in the ‘Your School Your Business’ programme with Young Enterprise.
The programme helps to support students as they make the big leap from primary seven into their first year at secondary level education.
Among a number of key life skills the participants developed personal confidence and presentation skills. They also assessed their personal abilities, while analysing and solving problems.
Part funded by the Department of Education. the charity works with young people of all ages and abilities to encourage entrepreneurial qualities at a young age.
