David Potts, whose address was given as Enniskeen, Craigavon, was also
fined £100 and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.

The court heard that police on the Lake Road in Craigavon police checked the insurance for a car driving in front of them.

It stopped in Enniskeen and Potts told police he had just bought the car in Armagh and was bringing it
home.

He had comprehensive insurance for another vehicle.

Mr Conor Downey,
representing the defendant, said Potts was under the misapprehension that he would have been covered.

He added that if his client had taken the car out just for a test run he would have been covered by the insurance policy.
