‘Constructive’ meeting

A meeting to discuss the Dickson Plan between the Progressive Unionist Party and the Southern Education and Library Board has been decribed as constructive.

PUP representatives from Lurgan and Portadown attended a meeting with SELB executives recently to discuss various options available for the re-organisation of post-primary education within the Dickson Plan area.

A spokesperson for the PUP commented: “The meeting was constructive for both parties and we are pleased that the proposals issued for discussion by the PUP have been well received.
