Consultation on '˜drinking byelaws'
Mid and East Antrim Borough Council is to extend a consultation period on draft '˜drinking bye-laws' for a further 28 days.
The consultation initially ran from the end of December until January 8, 2016; however, no responses were received.
The byelaws prohibit the consumption of intoxicating liquor in designated places.
The move aims to amalgamate byelaws from the three legacy councils into one.
