Contractor due at Craigyhill flats
it is expected that the contractor involved in the demoition of the vacant Craigyhill flats will be on site this week, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive has confirmed.
Concern has been growing over the delay in knocking down the heavily-vandalised buildings. which have been an eyesore for quite some time.
It is understood that the Executive were waiting on receipt of confirmation of a small number of outstanding service disconnections and the completion of purchase of one privately owned property before the demolition could get the final go-ahead.
