Cookstown businessman faces crown court trial over alleged rape
A Crown Court trial is underway against a Cookstown businessman accused of the rape and sexual assault of a woman in June 2014.
Desmond Bell of Gortacar Road in the town has been on trial at Dungannon courthouse since Monday.
The 51-year-old allegedly assaulted and raped a woman on June 21, 2014.
It is unclear whether the jury will reach a verdict on the case today.
