Its investment in marketing and employment has seen the company triple its workforce and export its products worldwide.

The firm was set up two years ago to produce eye-catching, retro-inspired furniture tailored to suit the individual demands of each customer. It has recently recruited eight new staff, five of which were supported by Invest NI.

Paul Elliot, Co-Founder of Zespoke explains: “Early on we set goals to expand our product portfolio, increase export sales, drive traffic to our e-commerce website and boost our workforce. Invest NI’s support enabled us to undertake these developments and the business is going from strength to strength as a result.”

Zespoke’s products are successfully selling across the UK and Europe with plans to expand into more markets later this year. They have also appeared on a number of television shows, including ITV’s 60 Minute Makeover as well as Channel 4’s First Dates, Sport Relief and Grand Designs.

“The additional staff have enabled us to focus on identifying new business opportunities across Great Britain, Republic of Ireland and beyond and we are on track to achieve our export sales target,” added Mr Elliot.

Mary Gormley, Invest NI’s Western Regional Manager, said: “Zespoke Design is a young, ambitious business which is achieving remarkable success in markets outside Northern Ireland in a relatively short period of time. Its investment to grow the business is now paying dividends.”

Invest NI offered £41,000 to Zespoke to support its investment in marketing and employment.
