Cookstown mourns death of Milton Thom

The motorcyle fraternity are mourning the passing of Mr Milton Thom.

The well known Cookstown Hotelier passed away in the early hours of this morning.

He had been a road racer supporter for over four decades and a long time sponsor of the Cookstown 100.

Back in 2008 he was left fighting for his life after being turned into a human fireball after a horrific motorbike smash at the Skerrie 100 meeting.

Owner of the Royal Hotel in Cookstown, Milton was a highly respected businessman in the Town.

Sympathy is extended to his family.

Funeral on Saturday at 1.00pm in Derryloran Parish Church.
