Cookstown Stop for Tea event success for NSPCC

AT the start of March, businesses throughout Cookstown took part in the NSPCC’s Stop for Tea event to help raise funds for NSPCC’s services in Northern Ireland.

Fionnuala Savage, NSPCC community fundraising manager said: “We’d like to thank all the local Cookstown businesses who took part in the Stop for Tea event.

Your support is vital to us as we try to help some of the most vulnerable children and families in Northern Ireland.”

Funds raised by Cookstown businesses will help support local children through the ChildLine service, the NSPCC’s free 24hr phone and online helpline for children and young people, the Young Witness Service which supports children who have to give evidence in court, and keeping safe education for all primary school age children.
