Copper stolen

7th December - A copper tank and pipes have been stolen from a house on Moyarget Road, Ballycastle. Police are appealing for information and request that the public report any suspicious vehicles in their neighbourhoods.

Man arrested

8th December - A man has been arrested in Cushendall and charged to court with aggravated vehicle taking and burglary. This follows the theft of an Audi car in the village on 1st November.

Scam warning

Police warn members of the public about releasing household details or bank details over the telephone. This is in relation to a call made to a householder enquiring about their IT status.

10th December - Two persons have been interviewed by police in relation to a report of criminal damage at a house in Armoy during October 2011. A police report on the matter is being prepared.

Ballycastle arrest

10th December - A male has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug on Atlantic Avenue, Ballycastle. A house was also searched where cannabis resin and herbal cannabis were seized along with some paraphernalia. A man is assisting with enquiries.

Fairhill arrest

11th December - A male has been arrested for disorderly behaviour, assault on police and criminal damage following an incident at Fairhill Street, Ballycastle. Police enquiries are ongoing.

Exposure

11th December - A male is to be reported for indecent exposure following an incident at The Diamond, Ballycastle. Police enquiries are ongoing.

11th December - A male is to be reported for disorderly behaviour, resisting arrest, assault on police and obstruction following an incident at Fairhill Street. Police enquiries are ongoing.
