Corner House to reopen on Friday

THE CORNER House in Derrymacash is reopening this Friday.

New licencee Colin Bell aims to have a buzzing music bar with live bands at the weekends.

For the opening this Friday night, well known local band Black Gold will be rocking the Corner House with an eclectic range of music from the 50s, 60s and 70s through to top hits from the 80s, 90s and 2000s.

Colin, who has a long background in the pub and restaurant business, told the ‘MAIL’ he aims to have regular bands every weekend. And he plans to open the restaurant soon as well. Traditional music sessions may well be in the pipeline too.
