In previous years, Miss Oyster Pearl has brought prestige and elegance to The Hillsborough Oyster Festival.

This year the stakes are higher with the winner receive some amazing prizes, including:- a one year contract with Style Academy Modelling Agency; a fabulous designer dress from Candy Plum worth approximately 500; stunning Calvin Klein jewellery from Shannon's Jewellers, Lisburn; also from Shannon's Jewellers, a beautiful pearl necklace to be worn throughout the festival; 150 worth of beauty treatments from Karen Francis Health & Beauty in Moira.

Miss Oyster Pearl finalists will be required to model in the 'Viva La Glam' fashion show at the festval this year, where finalists will be coached and choreographed by Tracey Hall from Style Academy.

Ever thought you fancied your chance at being a model? Well girls, this is an amazing opportunity to prove that you can do it. Miss Oyster Pearl's tasks will be to participate in the opening reception of the festival in Hillsborough Castle, be present and on hand at The Gala Ball, and most importantly, present the winner of the World Oyster Eating Championship with their trophy.
