The grand finale event will be hosted by CityBeat DJ Mark Lima and a panel of judges featuring Upper Bann MLA Jo-Anne Dobson will pick the first ever Clubworld Travel Miss Ulster, who will receive thousands of pounds worth of prizes.

Delia Aston, owner of Clubworld Travel, the event’s chief sponsor which has branches in Lurgan, Portadown, Banbridge and Newry said she is pleased to be involved in the new competition.

“I am absolutely delighted to sponsor this prestigious competition and become part of history by being involved in the first ever Miss Ulster event,” she said.

“There are so many beautiful girls in Belfast but also beyond the city so it makes sense to broaden the geographic spectrum within which we will find our winner and Miss Ulster allows us to do that. I’m sure we’re going to get a fantastic winner and a great ambassador for the province.”
