Council award grants to groups
A number of organisations in Ballymoney have each received £350 from Ballymoney Borough Council to hold events.
Those who met the criteria for the Small Grants scheme were: St. Brigid’s GAC, Glebeside CA Men’s Group (2), Benavarden Community Association, Cheers Youth Centre, Stranocum Ulster Scots Cultural and Heritage Society, Dunloy Development Association (2), Cloughmills Community Association, Ballybogey Community Association, Cloughmills Vintage Club, Glebeside Community Association, Finvoy Church Community Group.
The council was told that to date £18,5000 has been awarded in grants out of a the budget of £19,140.
