LONDONDERRY’S Council Offices on the Strand Road will be a mellow yellow over the month of March as it joins iconic landmarks across the UK in raising awareness of the Marie Curie Cancer Care, Great Daffodil Appeal.

The Council Building joins Stormont in Belfast and other iconic monuments and buildings – including Trafalgar Square, The London Eye, Inverness Castle, Gateshead Millennium Bridge and Portsmouth’s Spinnaker Tower, in profiling this worthy cause.

The aim of the Light the UK Yellow campaign is to highlight the work of the charity to raise money to enable more Marie Curie nurses provide more free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes and charity’s hospices.
