“Community Development is at the core of the new Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council. Council seeks to support the community sector and provide a tailored service which meets local need and helps prepare for Community Planning, which will be an integral aspect of Council work.

“The Strategy was developed through the work of the Community Development Officers within the four legacy councils of Coleraine, Limavady, Moyle and Ballymoney and was carried out in direct consultation with the community sector in all four areas.

“I would like to thank the community sector for their attendance and input into the Strategy.

“I also thank the Community Development officers for their collaborative work and direction in terms of Community Development and the Strategy and wish you well for the future.”

Community Development Officers at Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council have held a number of roadshows regarding the new Community Development Grant Programme which is now available.
