Council - leave the bins out early

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council wants to remind all householders that bins must be left out the night before or no later than 7am on collection day.

All black, blue and brown bin collections are currently continuing but over the coming weeks your bin may not be collected at the usual time.

A spokesperson added: “If your bin isn’t at the kerbside when crews are passing it may not be emptied later.

“Council’s crews are working hard to fulfill this vital service so please do what you can to assist them.

Residents are also kindly asked to always clean the handles of their bin before and after collection.

“Once again, thank you for your continued co-operation.”
