The organisation is celebrating 25 years of supporting families of premature and vulnerable babies born in Northern Ireland.

The flowerbed, which is located on the Shore Road, was officially unveiled last week by Mayor, Alderman Fraser Agnew.

“The council is delighted to provide this flowerbed in celebration of TinyLife’s 25th anniversary. I would like to congratulate TinyLife on 25 years of great work on behalf of premature and ill babies, as well as providing their parents with much needed practical and emotional support and wish them many more years of excellent service,” he said.

TinyLife offers a range of vital family support services, including a hospital to home service, breast pump hire and dads’ support group, and is set to unveil a baby sensory room at its offices in Carryduff.

“We have supported a number of families in and around Newtownabbey and would like to extend our warmest thanks to the council, the Mayor and the people for their continued support,” a spokesperson said.
