Council praise for health centre plan

BALLYMENA Councillors have praised planners for their swift actions in approving the development of the long-awaited new health and care centre at the Braid Valley site.

Now the allocation of funding for the project is the only hurdle to be overcome before the project can be steered towards completion.

Virtually every councillor applauded the decision which the Council’s Health Matters Committee chairman, Cllr. Tommy Nicholl, described as ‘very good news’ for Ballymena.
