“The draft Annual Performance Improvement Plan is now available and outlines the specific actions and measures for continuous improvement, based on the strategic priorities within the Corporate Plan.

“I urge all those with an interest in such ongoing improvement in the way Council tackles these issues in the coming year to make themselves heard,” Cllr Ashe said.

He added that that Part 12 of the Local Government Act (NI) 2014 puts in place a framework to support the continuous improvement of Council services.

The document is available to download on the Council website at www.midandeastantrim.gov.uk and the closing date for responses is Friday, 27 May 2016.
