Mr Ó Muilleoir was invited to the Mayor’s Parlour last week to meet with the Mayor, Councillor Audrey Wales and MEA Chief Executive Anne Donaghy, along with elected members of the local government authority.

Councillor Wales said: “We welcomed the opportunity to meet with the new Minister in what was a very positive meeting. On the agenda we covered the opportunities for new councils to invest in communities and how we could work together on the Programme for Government, Brexit and how we now look to move forward.”

“I am deeply grateful to Mayor Audrey Wales and I commend her pro-active approach.”
