Council to back awards for local businesses
Ballymoney Borough Councillors have thrown their weight behind a new Business Award initiative which is due to take place next year.
A proposal to hold awards was developed by Ballycastle and Ballymoney Chambers of Commerce assisted by Causeway Chamber for a joint Business Awards in 2014.
Ballymoney Council were invited to consider being a key sponsor providing a contribution of £3000 which was agreed by councillors at last week’s meeting.
The awards would recognise business talent and success across all sectors in the two district.
