Council to install WW1 memorial
A permanent fixture is to be erected in Larne’s Garden of Remembrance to commemorate the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
The memorial, which will be put in place by the local authority, was proposed by Councillor Mark McKinty, who said: “It will commemorate the service given and sacrifice made by so many men and women from Larne.”
