Council to sponsor Business Awards
Mid and East Antrim Borough Council has agreed to be the principal sponsor for the 2016 Ballymena Business Excellence Awards, contributing £6,000 to the event.
The awards are organised annually by Ballymena Borough Chamber of Commerce and Industry and will be held this year on October 20.
Last September, councillors approved £6,000 per location to act as principle sponsor for Business Awards in Ballymena, Carrickfergus and Larne in the 2016/17 and last week, Council’s Economic Growth & Development Committee agreed a recommendation to approve a formal sponsor request from the Ballymena Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
