Council warning topubowners

As the World Cup looms and with anticipated increase in customer numbers to licenced premises, Coleraine Borough Council would like to remind proprietor’s throughout the Borough that areas of their premises which are enclosed and/or substantially enclosed, must remain smoke-free.

Alexis Bloomfield of Coleraine Borough Council said: “Council advises licence holders to discuss with members of Environmental Services, any plans they may have to make alterations and/or extensions to their smoking areas. It is also advised that they ensure all staff are fully aware of non-smoking legislation and comply with this legislation.”
