Council withdrawBallymacvea landfill site application
A PLANNING application by Ballymena Borough Council to extend temporary planning permission at the Ballymacvea Landfill site has been withdrawn.
The proposal to extend duration of temporary planning permission for a waste transfer station by nine months, had been due for refusal by planners.
At last Thursday night’s Public Sector Liaison Committee in Ardeevin, Denise Kerr confirmed that the application had been withdrawn.
At the meeting it was agreed that members would discuss the proposals during reserved matters, in other words behind closed doors.
