Council writes of concern over job losses
CORRESPONDENCE is to be sent from Ballymena Borough Council to their counterparts in Larne expressing their regret and concern over the announcement by engineering company, FG Wilson, that it is to shed at least 160 jobs.
The decision to send the letter was made at last Monday night’s monthly meeting of Council on the proposal of Cllr. Maurice Mills.
He said: “This affects our borough as well and it will affect us even more when the RPA comes”.
