Councillors booked to attend seminars

THE BOROUGH is to be represented by councillors at a number of conferences and seminars over the coming weeks.

At the July monthly meeting of the local authority, last Monday night, the following representations were approved...

Cllr Maurice Mills to attend the 15th annual Northern Ireland Economic Conference in Belfast on September 29.

Alderman Hubert Nicholl to attend the Retail NI 2010 Conference in Belfast on September 30 and also the APSE National One Day Seminar on Managint Parks in the AGe of Financial Austerity in Surrey, on July 29.

Alderman Nicholl will also attend, along with two senior Council officers, the APSE Seminar on Financial Armageddon or Managed Transformation, in Londonderry from September 8-9.

Cllr Tommy Nicholl to attend the annual National Wreath Laying Ceremony at The National War Memorial Gardens in Dublin on Saturday, July 10.
