Councillors in the picture with prince
A commemorative booklet is being produced to mark the official opening of the refurbished McGarel Town Hall by Princes Charles on June 25, 2013.
Larne Borough Council is to present the publication to elected members and delegates who attended the official function. The outgoing Larne councillors are also to be presented with a group picture, taken on the day.
Hundreds of people lined Larne Main Street to catch a glimpse of the Prince of Wales as he arrived for the reopening of the town hall, which has been renewed as a centre for community events and features a mayor’s parlour.
