Councillors visit Triangle Housing

Councillors from Ballymoney recently met with the Board and senior management of Triangle Housing Association in its new offices at Eastermeade Gardens, Ballymoney.

The organisation outlined how it plans to build three hundred units of social housing accommodation over the next three years throughout Northern Ireland, along with building sustainable communities.

It will expand and diversify its support and care provision to persons with disabilities.

Its Progression to Employment service will also facilitate over 300 people with disabilities train for work within a number of social enterprise firms, as well as provide job coaching support for individuals with over 150 local employers throughout the North East region of Northern Ireland.

Its Floating Support services will support nearly 500 individuals annually to find and maintain tenancies, often within private sector accommodation. The organisation will employ over 400 people by the end of the current financial year, with 140 currently based in Ballymoney.

It was proud to rebuild its central office in Ballymoney and wanted to thank Council for its support over recent years and in particular with the development of the new office.
