Councils congratulate Coleraine’s Olympic success

Ballymena Borough Council wrote saying that “three medals in one town is highly commendable” and that “the success of the Olympians has brought honour to the borough of Coleraine”.

Fermanagh District Council also got in contact to congratulate the three medal winners.

The Chief Executive, Brendan Hegarty, wrote: “It is a wonderful achievement for the rowers and I would be grateful of you would pass on the congratulations of Fermanagh District Council to Coleraine’s three sporting heroes.”
