Countdown for the Midnight Walk

WITH just days to go until the Coleraine Midnight Walk, it’s not too late to grab yourself a place on the four mile walk in aid of Northern Ireland Hospice.

The walk takes place this Friday at the Diamond, Coleraine from 10pm.

he night is not to be missed with fun and laughter guaranteed for all who register to take part, as well as a complimentary tea or coffee from Starbucks, one of the event sponsors for the evening.

etting the tone for the event, Manager for Starbucks, Claire Carmichael is confident walkers will be full of beans, Starbucks are proud to support Northern Ireland Hospice for another year with their Midnight Walk. Last year was a great event which brought so many people together in aid of a local worthwhile cause.

he target for the Midnight Walk is £10,000 and if met will ensure that more patients and their families living with a terminal illness can be cared for in the local community.

“is Friday evening will see supporters gather at the Diamond, dressed in purple and getting warmed with an hour of music and entertainment from 10pm. Don’t miss out on an unforgettable evening of entertainment whilst raising funds for local Hospice Care.

“Places are still available for those who still want to take part. You can register by calling us on 028 9077 7123. We will also accept registers on the night from 9.45pm onwards. Registration is just £10 per person and includes a goodie bag on the evening.”

Once registered, all participants are encouraged to raise £90 in walk sponsorship to help the charity achieve their target of £10,000 for the event and make a real difference to local hospice patients in the coming months.

Lynn continues: “We understand that it is not always possible to raise the suggested sponsorship of £90, however we ask that participants endeavour to raise as much as they can to ensure continued Hospice care in the North Coast area.”
