Temporary Detective Superintendent Gary Reid said: “Officers seized three vehicles at Craigavon addresses and we are examining various items which we suspect to be counterfeit designer sportswear and leisurewear.

“Cheap counterfeit goods appear to be a bargain which isn’t hurting anyone but there is no such thing as a victimless crime. Revenues to the legitimate economy are lost and jobs put at risk.

“There is also a wealth of evidence that money made from counterfeit goods is used to fund other forms of crime including drugs.”
