Country Fair returns to The Argory

Visit The Argory on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May for the return of the fantastic Country Fair.

The event welcomed almost 2000 visitors to the beautiful National Trust property last year, and the Victorian estate will once again come to life next weekend - with the sights, sounds and smells of the country!

Throughout the weekend, visitors can choose from a fantastic selection of craft, gift and produce stalls in our craft village - selling everything from knitted goods and country crafts to scented candles, jams, cupcakes, plants, pottery, wooden items and more.

The little ones will love the display of hens, rabbits and bottle-fed lambs from Blackberry Farm on Saturday and, on Sunday, rare breed pigs and cattle from Pheasant Hill Farm will create some unusual sounds across the estate.

Country demonstrations such as horse-threshing, straw craft, traditional bread and soap-making will complete the displays over the weekend and provide fantastic entertainment for the whole family.
The Mid Ulster Bee Keepers Association are back for their 2nd year, giving visitors the opportunity to see the bees in action and purchase local honey products. Based at Loughry College, the MUBKA aim to increase awareness of the feral honeybee and its importance - not just for the production of honey, but also for pollination.

Children can try some traditional fairground rides and have their faces painted, while grown-ups take a guided tour of the house and estate.

Enjoy homemade cakes, scones, paninis and teas in the Courtyard Coffee Shop, grab a burger or hot dog or treat yourself to something nice in the gift shop, packed with an extensive range of products.
