Country music and dancing night for Spelga Mews

A Country music and dancing evening will take place at the Parish Centre Scarva Road on Wednesday October 1 in Banbridge with all proceeds going to the Dementia Unit at Spelga Mews, in the town.

Big names such as Boxcar Brian, Harry Convery, Asbury Gents, Eugene O’Dornan, Gene Stuart, Billy McFarland, Conor McKay, Barry Doyle, Kenny Paul and John McCourt have signed up to appear, which will be compered by Barney Greene with backing band Breakaway.

Spelga Mews is one of Fold Housing Associations’ Housing with Care and Support Schemes and cares for Older People with Dementia.

Tickets for the show, which begins at 8.30pm sharp, are £10.

The Comfort Fund allows Spelga Mews to go the extra mile for Residents by taking them to Concerts, Bus Tours, and Day Trips to various destinations and continue to allow them to keep an active role within their local Community.

The evening will also include a raffle with some brilliant prizes up for grabs.
